Unlike appearance prototypes produced in weak materials, Dimension 3D Printers generate durable, working models in ABS (acrylnitrile butadene styrene) plastic. Breakaway Support Technology Printers
The BST models produce durable working models from ABS with the click of a button. Once the model is printed, simply remove the model from the printer, peel away the supports and begin using the functional model.
Soluble Support Technology Printers
The SST printers incorporate the same technology as the BST to create high-quality working ABS models. The difference is that Dimension SST printers feature and automated support removal process. You simply remove the model from the machine and place it into an agitation bath and a concentrated solution to automatically wash away the support structures, allowing for "hands free" printing.
Both BST and SST models are available in a 768 model and 1200es model.
A 3-year comprehensive package is also available which includes supplies and a warranty.
